What a day of passion, energy, and sportsmanship! On September 18th, we celebrated an incredible Sports Day, where our athletes gave it their all across track and field events, basketball, football and throwball. From high-speed sprints to nail-biting matches, the air was electric with excitement.
A huge honour to have Mr. T Palaniswamy, Vice President of TNBA, and Dr. K Jayakumar, MBBS, DLO, Member of the Indian Squad in England, as our esteemed Chief Guests. Their presence and encouragement inspired our participants to reach new heights.
On August 31, 2024, a quiz competition for Term 1 was held for grades 6 to 9, focusing on Tamil and Science. Four groups competed enthusiastically, showcasing their knowledge and quick thinking. The audience, comprising students from the same grades, eagerly supported their peers throughout the event.
The Teachers’ Day event began with a Prayer Song and a warm Welcome Tribute from the students, followed by graceful and creative performances by Grade 8,9 and11 students showing their respect and appreciation for their teachers.
The celebration concluded with enjoyable fun games and field games for the teachers, who expressed their gratitude for the students’ efforts and thoughtful gestures.
Our school came alive with joy and devotion as we celebrated Krishna Jayanti! From vibrant performances depicting Lord Krishna’s life to the beautiful decorations, students brought the festive spirit to life. The day was filled with devotion, dance, and celebration, honoring the birth of Lord Krishna.

On 31st August 2024, our talented students from both primary and secondary grades showcased their artistic skills in a vibrant clay modelling, drawing, and painting competition. The theme for this year was “Lord Vinayaka”, and the creativity on display was truly remarkable!
From beautifully sculpted clay idols to stunning paintings, our young artists captured the essence and grace of Lord Vinayaka with their unique interpretations.
On 19 th August, our students and teachers from grades 6 to 12 had the incredible opportunity to attend a motivational talk by Mr. Dinesh KSM, an aspiring agripreneur exploring innovative markets in A2 milk and its by-products. His insights into entrepreneurship and the future of sustainable agriculture left us all inspired and motivated!

A vibrant Pookolam (flower kolam) display was arranged at the school premises on 28 August for students in grades 6 to 12 to celebrate Onam. The event showcased the creativity and artistic skills of the students as they designed beautiful floral patterns. This activity not only highlighted the cultural significance of Onam but also nurtured a sense of teamwork and community among the students.
On Wednesday, July 24th, the Negamam PHC conducted a leprosy awareness programme for students in grades 6 to 12. The event took place from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Kapila Hall as part of the National Leprosy Eradication Programme. The session aimed to educate students on leprosy, its prevention, and the importance of early detection and treatment.
The School Governing Council (SGC) election took place on July 3rd, marking a significant event in the school’s calendar as students and teachers participated enthusiastically in choosing their leaders. The elected members of the SGC were officially inducted during the investiture ceremony held on July 22nd in which the newly elected members took their oaths under the leadership of the School Pupil Leader (aSPL). Ech member was honoured with a sash and badge, symbolizing their commitment to their new roles and responsibilities

Grandparents, the sagacious pillars of our families, were treated to a delightful day filled with engaging games and entertaining activities, both indoors and out. The event showcased their creativity and storytelling skills, captivating everyone with their imaginative stories.
The Pasunthazhir Club of Honey Bunch successfully concluded its Environmental Week celebration, creating awareness and appreciation for our planet. Through various activities like oath taking , seed ball preparation, replacement of plastic with eco- friendly products,making wealth from waste and donating cast – offs(second – hand clothes) to the nannies of the school, the students were inspired to adopt sustainable practices. We thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation and commitment to making a positive impact for a greener, healthier world!

The teachers’ trip to Karaikudi on 30th May was an unforgettable journey that entertained and relaxed our minds and hearts. We explored the magnificent Chettinadu temples, marvelling at their intricate artwork and absorbing the rich cultural heritage. The local cuisine delighted our taste buds with its unique flavours and traditional recipes.
Beyond the sensory pleasures, this excursion served as a catalyst for camaraderie among the teachers. The shared experiences fostered stronger bonds, transforming colleagues into friends and making the trip not only informative but immensely enjoyable.

We are excited to share our pride and pleasure of hosting the Sports Summer Camp from April 22 nd to May 10 th. The event was held with meticulous planning in view of bringing about a physically active community through their interesting fields of sports. We saw enthusiastic participation from young athletes making the camp a resounding success. The diverse range of activities offered something for everyone, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a love for sports.
Siruthuli organised a half day training on Conservation of water, on April 12th 2024.
Project ‘Thuli Thuliyaai Siruthuliyai’ (TTS), meaning ‘Drop by Drop’ with a mission to spread the awareness on Water Conservation among various cross sections of the society in the city of Coimbatore.
As a part of this mission, Honey Bunch school along with many schools in Coimbatore attended the workshop. The message is for the children across the city, to equip them with knowledge on tools, techniques, technologies, and behavioural changes that can be adopted to become environmental stewards in their family and also create an impact in their neighbourhood. They also wish to work with the school managements to enable them with support required to monitor the water consumption pattern in their campuses and provide recommendations to adopt various technologies that can be used to optimize the water consumption within the campus.
On the 2nd of April, the 11th-grade students orchestrated a touching farewell event to honour and bid farewell to their departing 12th-grade seniors.The highlight of the evening was a captivating dance performance choreographed by the students themselves.Various games and activities were organized, adding fun and lively element to the programme.
The school hosted an informative and engaging Orientation programme for parents of students from Kindergarten to Grade 11, providing valuable insights into the upcoming academic year. The event, held with meticulous planning, aimed to foster a strong partnership between parents and the school community to actively support the child’s learning and development throughout the academic year.
