In accordance with the G20 Presidency of India – the Ministry of Electronics and IT,had initiated a Cyber awareness campaign.
In view of the above , a Cyber safety presentation titled ” Stay Safe Online ” was organised by our Computer department Ms.A.Pavithra and Ms.V.Manimegalai on 7/2/2023.
Children were enlightened on the various strategies of using social media safely .
On 17th February 2023, an environmental awareness programme was organised
The event was presided by Mr. Suresh apex member of Siruthuli , Coimbatore and our correspondent Meena mam.
The highlights of the program were water and energy conservation, waste disposal management, fuel and pollution controland conserving our environment.
With respect to India ‘s presidency of the G20 summit 2023-24, a skit was staged by students of grades 9 and 11, bringing out the significance of G20 – the intergovernmental forum for international economic cooperation.
The logo, theme, member nations, guest countries, ideologies, activities and events related to G20 were focussed with active participation of the children from grades 6 to 11.

The KINDERGARTEN ACTIVITY EXPO held on 3rd February 2023 was an ideal platform to explore and showcase the little buddies’ talents, through Montessori materials and various models.
It was amazing to watch the buddies perform and demonstrate experiments independently. They warmly welcomed the guest, clearly explained their activity and finally expressed their gratitude with a small treat. Parents witnessed the activity with immense enthusiasm.
As a part of “Observance of Road Safety Week” under SwachhataPakhwada – 2023, the school conducted a comprehensive road safety awareness programme on 20.01.2023.
In this project, students were sensitised and educated about road safety, safe behaviour, traffic rules and causes of road accidents. Presentations were organized regarding the same for raising awareness on road safety and to become safer road users.
An awareness programme by Coimbatore Police was conducted in the school on 25th January, 2023.
Trained personnel from Pollachi Police station addressed the students to make them aware about sexual offenses and the legal remedies available to them.
The cop explained the basics such as
- a) What is safe touch and unsafe touch?
- b) Adult behavior and what is right and wrong?
- c) What to do and what not to do in a problematic situation?
It was a fruitful awareness session.
Honey Bunch Senior Secondary School [CBSE] celebrated its 6th annual sports day 2022-23 on 23rd and 24th of September with great zeal and enthusiasm. The events were spread across two days. The sports activities of KG to grade 2 were held in the forenoon and that of grades 3 to 5 were held in the afternoon session of September 23rd.September 24th marked the events of the secondary classes.
Ms. Athiroopa Sundari [M.A,B.P.Ed], Dr.P.Ashok Kumar [Director of Phy. Ed Mahalingam college], Mr.C.Vairamuthu Tahsildar of Pollachi and Ms. Shyamala- Councillor of Pollachi were the dignitaries who presided the celebrations.
A rigorous fest of displays ,drills and aerobics were the highlights of the show.Track events,thrilling team games of basketball, throwball and football were the spotlight features of the secondary sports day. Students exhibited meticulous skill in all the sports and won several prizes.
The “VIJAYADHASHAMI “ festivities were celebrated with great spiritual mirth and grandeur at Honey Bunch on 30th September, Friday. Children recited shlokas and sang devotional songs invoking the blessings of “ Ma Durga”. Students of grade X and grade XII – 2022-23 batch performed the sacred ‘ Durga Ashtothra Satham’ seeking wisdom and knowledge from the Divine. The event was headed by the correspondent, principal and primary head. The devout revelry ended up by distribution of prasadam to teachers and students.
